About this pen…

This is a custom pen made with a combination of pen styles. It’s made in black ebonite with the shape & style of an Onoto Magna. It has a chevron pattern engraved on the cap and barrel reminiscent of a Parker Duofold Centennial. One other small custom touch added is the image of a double-cross engraved on the top of the finial. (this is shown in the slideshow below).

Hardware…

The clip used is the style used on several kit pens such as the Wall Street and Sierra. The ring was a little small for the cap style, so I made it as a hidden ring clip. Then I used a 1mm wide (rhodium) band to mimic the clip ring. The pair of bands at the base of the cap (also rhodium plated) are modeled after the bands on the special edition Magna Doctor.

Nib and inking system…

The inking system is C/C* (cartridge/converter). The nib is a 2-tone steel #7 Onoto. It’s paired with an Onoto converter in chrome trim to match the rest of the silvertone trim on the pen.*I have an asterick here to point out that the feed on the Onoto nib has a slightly larger nipple than a Jowo that I’d usually use. Therefore if you want to consider using the #7 nib in your next custom pen, it will require the matching converter and/or cartridges. However both converter and cartridges are available for purchase separately.

About the Accordion behavior:

I can’t RENAME “Accordion Heading”.
I use to be able to highlight the default heading, then enter the new heading name I wanted to use. Now it will let me highlight it, but not change the name (enter new text).

RENAME: When I try to change the heading name using ‘RENAME’ (by clicking the ‘3-dots’ then > Rename) I can enter the name there, but it won’t change it on the page. But if I click rename again, it displays the name I typed previously in the box. But the heading on the page still reads ‘Accordion Heading‘.

The text BELOW is what I wanted in the accordion. ‘Pen dimensions’ should be the Accordion Heading (but it ISN’T), and the rest of the text (the actual dimensions) should be in the drop down box (which it IS).
