Custom Desk Pens
Fountain pens, roller-ball pens, ball-point pens, and pencils.
Available in single or double pen sets.
Desk pens used to be a staple on any desk or counter. The first were fountain pens, then later came ball-point pens and pen and pencil sets. But for some reason, they seemed to have fallen out of favor. Especially quality desk pens. And more importantly, fountain pen-style desk pens are nonexistent.
But now you can have a quality desk pen again! You can choose from any of the three pen types (fountain, ballpoint, or rollerball), as well as a pencil. And you can have it made with your favorite wood or acrylic material. Below, I’ve detailed pen types, current options, and material types that are usually available. Also shown are a few examples of sets I’ve made with various materials.
Pen types:
Most of the last mass-produced desk pens were made with ball-point pens or as ball-point pen and pencil sets. And that was before the advent of the roller-ball pen. So I offer desk pens in any of the three pen types: fountain, ball-point, or roller-ball. I offer them as a single desk pen, a combination of pens, or as a pen and pencil set. The bases can be ordered in basically any size configuration as long as material is available in the required size. Bases can also be ordered with one of a variety of custom edge profiles.
Material:
Just as with most of my custom pens, you can order a desk pen in several types of acrylic, natural wood, or wood and acrylic combinations. Wooden fountain pens are made with acrylic inserts to accommodate the threads.
Acrylics: While the colors and patterns of acrylics are many, because of the standard sizes that are typically sold for making pens, there are a few things to keep in mind when choosing a material for your custom desk pen. So if you may be interested in placing an order, please review the additional ordering information at the link below.
Ordering information:
Since there is quite a bit of information, I decided to create a separate page for the ordering information. The page includes specific information on available materials as well as more detail on sizes and style options for bases.

Slimline Ballpoint Desk Pens
Funnels Only
Have an old desk set but it has broken or missing funnels?
Maybe you found a vintage base online but it’s missing the funnels. Or maybe you have a complete set but would like to use different pens with it? I can make custom fitted funnels for any style pen new or old.
The funnels below are examples made for both old and new pens. The black and clear acrylic funnels were made for vintage Parker desk pens, while the purpleheart funnels were made for modern Slimline pens. The customers mounted the funnels to vintage bases completing their desk set.
